You can also ​log in using an external XMPP account. For a list of public XMPP servers, see ​http://xmpp.org/services/. Connection with the core accounts (the Skipinions user etc.) is established by Skipforward adding these accounts to your contact list on first login.

Once you logged in, please wait some minutes while you database is synchronized with the data of other system users.

Please do not use an account that you also use for instant messaging - for example, normal messages sent to the Skipforward node are silently dropped currently. We might implement a full XMPP client eventually but don't hold your breath ;-).
